Verse of the day.
The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
God’s anger was kindled against his people. Despite knowing Him for His powers, blessings, love, and mercy, they conveniently sinned against Him on many occasions.
Despite being upset with them, they were still His people and He accepted them so. He always found a way to extend His infinite mercies towards them, just as He does towards you and me in our failings.
Joys of restoration.
Restoration often brings a blessing. A typical example is seen in The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-24)
When restored, God gets into our midst. God being in your midst is a form of significant intimacy which was once lost from the breach sin created. A mighty God in your midst does a lot for your good.

A mighty God is ever ready to save! which is just one of the many things He can do for you.
And here is the best part, God won’t just save but will rejoice over you with gladness. God is excited about us! Remember how the father of the prodigal son ran from afar off to kiss his son when He saw him returning home? That’s exactly how God feels about you. Don’t get scared about all your wrongs that you’d rather stay away from God because more than ever before He wants you closer, to redeem you and set you straight.
The love God has for us can be likened to a bridegroom’s love for his bride. It is pure, unadulterated and one that brings peace. It is easy for us to be at peace when our relationship with God is perfect. He wants that communication with Him. How would you feel if your child stopped talking to you? Disturbed? Unhappy? Desperate to bridge the gap? God is Father, He loves to have an unbroken relationship with you.
Father, nothing takes Your love from me. I make my way back to You from the many places I have been. Help me rest in your love.
