Verse of the day.
Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.
This verse is 100% accurate BUT must not be taken out of context. God DOES hear when sinners seek repentance and salvation. God can’t behold iniquity and this is a standard that He doesn’t compromise. He is Light, so, naturally, darkness is repelled. God does not hate the sinner but the sin. If He hated the sinner, He would not have sent Jesus to die for our sins, He would have just punished us for our iniquities. The Bible says in John 3:16 that God indeed loved the world. That feeling is so strong that He was willing to have His son be the sacrificial lamb.
Many times we pray with no answers and things like this make the heart weak, but it’s also important to check yourself and your prayers. Sinners need to receive forgiveness before making demands of God. We can’t live like God doesn’t have feelings and that a sinful lifestyle mean nothing to Him. If it cost the life of His son, Jesus, then it’s a big deal.

Prayers are also sometimes left unanswered because of the motive behind them. It is important that we are willing and attentive to hear the answers that God has for us when we pray. It often may not be what you want (and this may hurt), but as long as you’re aligned in the will of God, it’ll work out well.
In the preceding verses before our verse of the day, some of the Pharisees had challenged Jesus’ origin and even said He was of the devil because He healed a blind man on the Sabbath. The healed man, in turn, challenged the Pharisees who had doubted by reminding them that God would not allow Jesus perform those miracles if He was not from Him. Hearing this logical response, they kicked the man out of the synagogue. They clearly rebelled against the truth.
In praying, we communicate with God as He does with us and we find that He cherishes this fellowship. To achieve seamless communication, Holiness is also key. Of our own powers, we may fail, it’s important to make use of the abilities that grace provides.
