Verse of the day
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Dr. Hermann Olshausen, a renowned German theologian, had said: “That which is begotten carries within itself the nature of that which begat it”. So in essence, a lion can only birth its kind with the same characteristics as itself. Nature itself proves this.
Just as it is with all things physical, so it is with every living thing, physical and nonphysical. Flesh, for example, only has the capacity to produce according to itself, while Spirit produces its fruit. The merely natural man produces natural things. His life and works are not spiritual. They’ll never be in a million years. His tendencies are towards earthly passions, corruption, and eventually damnation. It’s not exactly based on the things he does but on who he is. This is the state of every man born of a woman. Such nature is inherent in him.
However, we who are born again are born of the Spirit. We are partakers of the divine nature of the Spirit by virtue of the new birth. We have received the ability to live, walk and work by the Spirit. We discern and judge all things by the Spirit. We, being spiritual, have access to all of God’s love, holiness, perfection, righteousness, faithfulness and all such as are inherent in Him; all works of the nature of the Spirit.

I am born of the Spirit. So, I live and walk by the Spirit. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I exude the nature of Christ in me always.
