Verse of the day
For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
Why are some people saved and others aren’t? Why do some people believe in God and others say they don’t? Or how is it that you love God and some other person appears to hate Him? Is that how God has chosen us to be? Is He partial towards some? Has He personally selected those with whom He will walk?
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared unto all men.
Contrary to how it often appears, no one has been denied access to God’s grace. His grace, which is ever abundant, has been made available for all men. For God is ever just. Grace is not only for the Arabian, or Jew; you do not need to speak a certain language to access God. His grace is for all men.
Is the rain selective on whom it falls? Whosoever will be soaked in the rain will be. And whosoever will not be may prevent that with the help of a covering.
God’s grace falls like rain, it is evenly distributed. Whosoever will can drink to his fill. Whosoever will can be totally soaked in it.
Our responsibility, therefore, is to serve as a channel for others to behold, experience and receive this grace. By bringing the gospel of Christ to them, we help them see the blessing in the rain. By revealing the person of Love and Truth to them, we find more of this Love and Truth and help them do the same. It is my prayer that through you, men will seek and receive the rain of God into their lives.

Father, today, I do not just dive into to receive my measure of your evenly distributed grace but give myself as a yielded vessel to help others do the same.
