Verse of the day
…“Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.”
God has given the devil no power over you. The gift of your salvation brought with it your redemption from all you suffered as a captive of the devil. So when God saved you, it was as good as Him saying to the devil, “you have no right over my beloved, not anymore. All that you held against him have been paid for and forgiven.” God fulfilled all that concerned Him with regards to your redemption. The ball is now in your court.
So when you appear to suffer some harm, it isn’t because God has granted the devil access or power over you. It isn’t ‘how God wants it to be.’ No. We must be careful to distinguish the things God denies of us and the wrong things we allow the devil work in us. The devil only has as much power over you as you let him. Even with challenges as foundational as living victoriously above sin, God has done His bit in making you righteous. If you are have received the gift of salvation, you have been given the gift of righteousness. Whether you experience the full capacity of this righteousness in your daily walk, is up to you.
There is no special Christian. All God’s people are anointed. All are His prophet. A sacred, holy life, free from sin and its influences, which include sickness, and pain is not reserved for a special breed of Christians, neither is a life filled with other supernatural experiences. You, beloved, are special to God. Do not live in fear, but daily exercise yourself to experience His fullness. Seek to know God, for in knowing Him you will come to know how safe and secure you are in His love.

I am Dad’s anointed, His beloved, I am special. I am not more special than others who belong to Him, neither am I less special. The devil has no power over me, neither will I give Him mine. I am free from all of his influences.
