Verse of the day:
And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.
Father has said of Himself, that His ears are not deaf that they do not hear, and even further, He is one to respond to a child before such child even calls out to Him. Our Father is not only attentive to our material needs on earth – food, clothing, and shelter, He is poised to actively listen to the thoughts, questions, gratitude, and other petition we bring before Him. He delights in hearing from the ones He’s called His own – you and me.
Sometimes, doubts may arise in communicating with an unseen God – one may wonder “is someone out there listening to me?” This often results in the hesitation in the hearts of many that keep them from communicating with their Father. However, Faith is such confidence in Him that every time we pray, He hears! Consider Daniel: scripture tells us he set his heart out to seek the Lord concerning certain issues. According to scripture, an angel reported that the very first day Daniel asked, the Lord heard and answered. Isn’t that amazing?
Jesus, in the verse above, had so much confidence in the Father’s listening ears that He boldly declared this to the people present. He did not doubt that He had His Father’s attention. In declaring those words, He showed us that as sons, we too can remain in confidence that our Father hears us. Beloved, we can always come boldly before the Father and also speak about Him with confidence because we know He hears everytime we call.
Have a lovely day today, you are blessed!
