Verse of the day
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
While they followed Jesus, the disciples learned wonderful things about God’s Fatherhood through His teachings. However, when He was about to be crucified and resurrected, He promised to send the Holy Spirit who would continue as their teacher and remind them of all the things He had shared with them.
The Holy Spirit was sent to be a helper, a teacher, and a friend. Picture the manner of relationship Jesus had with His disciples. Now, see that as the kind of relationship He desires that everyone who believes in Him would come to have with the Holy Spirit. For example, imagine being able to learn more about God’s kingdom and His love for you while eating breakfast with Him.
When you believed in Jesus, you also, received The Holy Spirit into your heart. He lives inside of you and is guiding you according to the Father’s will as He guided Jesus. Now, you can also learn about God’s kingdom while you eat breakfast with Him, because the Holy Spirit is right there in you, beside you and will always be with you.
Beloved, don’t be afraid to interact with the Holy Spirit – ask Him questions, share your thoughts with Him. He loves hearing from you and will always respond to you. As you listen to Him also, He will continue to speak to you and teach you, wonderful things about God’s love.
Thank you Holy Spirit for coming into my life to teach me. I love You and I know You love me too. I desire to learn and to grow in my relating with You. As I interact with You, please show me how to listen for Your voice.
