Knowing And Acknowledging Father’s Will

Day 325
Verse of the day:

Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”

Mark 1:41

Testimonies abound that detail Abba’s ability to save, heal and deliver and for the most part, many children are not in doubt about these mighty works. Our belief that He caused a virgin to conceive and raised Jesus from the dead is proof that we are not in doubt about His abilities.

In the above scripture, the (former) leper was not in doubt about Jesus’ power to heal him. He probably had heard the news of Jesus’ miracles and maybe even saw some happen before his eyes. The issue therefore, was not whether Jesus was able. Instead, the man was unsure about Jesus’ desire to see him whole. In other words, this man said to Jesus; “I know You can cleanse me, but what I don’t know is if you are willing to.” He was unaware of Jesus’ love for him.

Sometimes, we find ourselves in a similar situation, where we are unsure about Father’s desire towards us in peculiar circumstances – where we know what He can do but aren’t sure if He will do so. Although our being in Christ has guaranteed us access to many things – both tangible and intangible in the Father, when we are unsure about His love for us, or we do not know what He’s freely made available, we may have trouble receiving from Him.

If today, you’re in a place as such, ask the Holy Spirit to help you see Father’s intention in that which you are unsure of. Like the man in the above scripture, don’t be afraid to ask – He is ever willing to answer these questions. Through His Spirit, He is faithful to lead you to answers which boost your faith in Him, and cause you to receive fully from Him.

Beloved, before you came to know Him as Father, He loved you and gave His Son freely to die for you. He loved you before you knew Him, and now that you know Him as Father, He loves you still. The one who freely gave His son to die for you will not withhold any good thing from you!

He will not let you down.

Beloved, before you came to know Him as Father, He loved you and gave His Son freely to die for you. He loved you before you knew Him, and now that you know Him as Father, He loves you still.Click to Tweet
