Verse of the day.
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,
Scripture says, ‘without faith, it is impossible to please God’. This means absolutely nothing can please Him apart from faith. This was why God gave commendations to people who pleased Him through no other means than by faith (Hebrews 11).
That faith is Christ.
This was validated when the Father declared clearly, “This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.” And Christ Himself declared in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me.”
Christ is the beginning and end of our faith. The first and the last. The Old and the New. From the days of Abraham up until now, faith (Christ) has been the only fragrance that draws God to men, an aroma pleasing to Him.

He is our faith.
So, we have not been called to gather up strength, or to search out our own righteousness and neither are we expected to recreate a holy agenda. We have only been called to look up to this Jesus who is our faith. Then will we watch our weaknesses become strengths, our righteousness rooted in Him and ourselves working out His Holy agenda.
We don’t just look at Him; we look unto Him. We don’t gaze in the mirror and walk away. No. We consider Him that we may attain.
No other being or entity pleases the Father like the Son. So, to finish our course with joy, to truly live, to please and obtain the Father as our reward, there is nothing else to gaze upon, no one else to aspire to than Christ; the beginning and end of our faith.
