Verse of the day
…to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
Our lives should begin and end with Love. They already began with Love. We were created in Love by a loving Father and we are redeemed by the Love of God through Jesus Christ. So yes, it’s all about Love!
Godliness, kindness, patience are sample traits that we are expected to exhibit as children of God. These hold their base at the center of Love. We can’t radiate these if the Love of God is not perfected in us. Of course, some might argue that they are kind but they are not patient (I can’t stand my time being wasted but I give alms generously) – This mentality faults the origin of that kindness as kindness is borne from Love.
Love is like the patient zero at the head of the family tree for which every other fruit (in this case virtue) is borne but most derive its nutrient from this head of the family in order to be fully developed. If we are not properly rooted in Love, these virtues we claim to have will eventually fall off, our façade would be taken off and the farce that is us would be revealed.
It is a lot easier to be Godly, show brotherly kindness, patience, faith and diligence when these virtues find their root in Love. It’ll come naturally for us because we can now show our inherent Godly nature. We see things from a perspective borne of Christ and can act towards our neighbors the way He wants us to.
As the Light of the world, it’s in our nature to radiate Love, Life, and Light and these would be possible with the right understanding of Love on which our existence is founded. It’s also important not to forget that God wants our life to be a letter of love for the world to read, so how about you begin consciously lovingly writing these pages with love?

Dear Lord, in You, I receive enablement to be perfected in Love in furtherance of the Kingdom of God here on earth. Amen.
