Praying With Your Siblings

Day 353
Verse of the day:

Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Matthew 18:19

Throughout scripture, Jesus makes it clear that our prayers are always heard by Father. This scripture is one of those places where Jesus plainly states that Father never turns a deaf ear to His children. Jesus doesn’t stop here; He goes on to teach us how to make our requests known to Father. Imagine He’s that older brother you have, who because He’s known your parents for a much longer time than you, can show you how to relate to them.

In the verse above, Jesus shows us another way to bring our requests before our Father and reminds us that we are not by ourselves. You and I are surrounded by men and women who also love God and are called according to His purpose. Father through His Spirit connects us with men and women that are a part of us, and that we are a part of. When we need supply, it is His joy that we realize the provision He has made available through the men and women that surround us.

Beloved, always remember that you have such access to Father and that you will receive answers for whatever you agree upon with any of your spiritual siblings on earth. This knowledge should stir up faith in you that when you stand in agreement with others, heaven responds. It does not stop there. It should also stir up faith in you to ask of your brothers and sisters too, “is there anything you would like me to agree with you on?” because you know it would be done by Father.

You are blessed!
