Verse of the day
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
Our experience of God greatly depends on the nature of our faith in Him which, in turn, depends on our knowledge of Him. If we believe that He is love, that He is good, that we can become one with Him in actions as well as in intentions, that we can be totally led by the Spirit, that we can be saved to the utmost, that we can fully lose the works of the flesh and perfectly bear the fruits of the Spirit, that we can live in divine health, never be ill, and that we can be so united in fellowship with Him that all that flows from us is the God Life, so will it be unto us; a time will come, and even now it’ll be that this will be our reality.
What we believe of God boils down to what we know of Him – how much of Him we have received in revelation.
Do you know Him as Love? Do you know Him as one who would never hurt you, one who desires nothing but good for you? Do you know Him as one who is intentional about your life and as someone who would stop at nothing to see you established in His will? Accurately knowing all that there is to Him would affect your faith in Him and consequently affect your experience of Him.
Therefore, give the diligence to seek
Father, I desire that you flood my eyes with your Light. Help me gain the right knowledge of You which would, in turn, affect my faith in You, thus affecting my experiences in You. Thank You, Father, for I know that You desire to accomplish this in my life and would do so.
